Upper Left Designs Studio is a woman-led, Native co-owned creative studio rooted in McMinnville, Oregon and inspired by the landscapes, seasons, and slower rhythms of the Pacific Northwest.

What began as a love of art and design has grown into a collection of thoughtfully made goods created to bring a little more beauty, warmth, and sense of place into everyday life. Our small-batch soy candles are hand-poured in Oregon, with fragrances inspired by misty forests, changing leaves, quiet mornings, cozy kitchens, and the familiar places and moments that make a home feel like home.

Every detail—from the scent and vessel to the label and packaging—is approached with a designer’s eye. We believe the things we live with can be both useful and beautiful, and that even something as simple as lighting a candle can help create a moment worth slowing down for.

Alongside our candles, Upper Left Designs Studio continues to be shaped by a love of illustration, art, and thoughtful design, with the Pacific Northwest always close at heart.
